STORYTELLING AND SPOKEN WORD | QUEER STORIES OF SURVIVAL

Listen to Afuwa, Phionah and Monalisa, who are threatened by deportation to Uganda and Tansania. They will share their life stories and struggles in the German asylum system – stories of survival and strength. Listen to poetry and spoken word by Dr. Ifunanya Concilia Dimaku, who is an expert on global health, LGBTIQ activist and community organiser. The event is organised in the context of the photo exhibition „Queer. Geflüchtet. Sichtbar“ by Steffi Eckelmann, which shows portraits of queer refugees from Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria.
